Step One: Pre-planning

Take some time to review the Los Angeles family photography website and each family photo. If you love these family portraits, fill out the form at the bottom of this page to get in contact for your family photoshoot. Within 24-48 hours, I will reach out to schedule a pre-planning session over coffee, phone, or Zoom and discuss questions, pricing, and collections. 

Step Two: Preparation

After booking your family photography session, we will begin the preparation or brainstorming phase. Here we can discuss your goals and come up with fun ideas for your family photoshoot. I will guide you with information on how to prepare your family photoshoot.

Step Three: Photo Session & Gallery Viewing

Your family photography session is where the magic happens! I will take creative family portraits while ensuring that you and your family feel comfortable throughout the session. After the photoshoot, we will view each family photo in person and you’ll select your favorites. You will receive the final selection within two weeks.

Where are you located?
I’m based out of Venice Beach. I’m available to travel and have my passport handy just in case. If traveling far, I do require a traveling fee. Fees vary depending on the location. Typical fees includes transportation, hotel accommodation, Airbnbs, etc.
Do you edit all of our family photos?
Yes, I edit and color correct all the images. 
Can we buy prints and albums?
Yes, you can purchase all prints and albums during the gallery viewing. 
How do we book you?
Wonderful! Would love to chat. Email me at heidigarciaphotography@gmail.com and/or fill out the contact form.  After this, I like to set up a one-on-one meet over the phone, Skype or in person.

 

Do you offer payment plans?
Yes I do offer payment plans. We can discuss this over the phone or during the gallery viewing.  
Are digital images included with your collections?
Yes! You will receive edited files through an online gallery. 
How far in advance should we book a session with you? What’s required?
You can book at anytime, but I would recommend the sooner the better to make sure you get the date secured in my calendar. A deposit of 50% of the session fee is required to save the date.
When will I receive our online gallery?
You will receive your online gallery within two weeks.
Can we see other images taken from the session? Do you give raw files?
No. I include all the successful photos during the editing process. Most of the photos that are rejected are photos that have eyes closed or came out blurry. I do not deliver any raw files.
What kind of photoshoots do you do?
I do outdoor and indoor family portraits. We can do sessions at your home, the beach, park or my home studio.
