Step One: Pre-planning
Take some time to review the website and the Los Angeles pet photography. If you love what you see, fill out the form at the bottom of this page. Within 24-48 hours, I will reach out to schedule a pre-planning session over coffee, phone, or Zoom and discuss questions, pricing, and collections.
Step Two: Preparation
After booking your pet photography session, we will begin the preparation or brainstorming phase. Here we can discuss your goals and come up with fun ideas for your photoshoot. I will guide you with information on how to prepare your pet for the photoshoot.
Step Three: Photo Session & Gallery Viewing
Your pet photography session is where the magic happens! I will take creative pet photography while ensuring that your pet feels comfortable throughout the session. After the photoshoot, we will view your pictures in person and you’ll select your favorites. You will receive the final selection within two weeks.
Why do I photograph pet photography?
Hi there! I’m Heidi, a Los Angeles pet photographer. My goal with pet photography is to capture your fur family members personalities while providing quality pet photos that you will treasure for decades. I got into Los Angeles pet photography when I decided to become a dog sitter for fun. As an animal lover, I found joy in spending time with fur friends and I started taking pet pictures. I love connecting with animals and getting to know their quirky personalities. I’ve had a number of pets over the years, so I know first-hand that these creatures are more than pets. Where are you located?
I’m based out of Venice Beach. I’m available to travel and have my passport handy just in case. If traveling far, I do require a traveling fee. Fees vary depending on the location. Typical fees includes transportation, hotel accommodation, Airbnbs, etc.
Do you edit all of our pet photos?
Yes, I edit and color correct all the images.
Can we buy prints and albums?
How do we book you?
Do you offer payment plans?
Yes I do offer payment plans. We can discuss this over the phone or during the gallery viewing.
Are digital images included with your collections?
Yes! You will receive edited files through an online gallery.
How far in advance should we book a session with you? What’s required?
You can book at anytime, but I would recommend the sooner the better to make sure you get the date secured in my calendar. A deposit of 50% of the session fee is required to save the date.
When will I receive our online gallery?
Can we see other images taken from the session? Do you give raw files?
What kind of photoshoots do you do?
I do outdoor and indoor pet photography. We can do sessions at your home, the beach, park or my home studio.
