When it came to planning my boudoir shoot, I knew I wanted to have fun with it. I started by visiting some lingerie stores in person and trying on different options. It was such a blast to see the different styles, colors, and fabrics available and find outfits that I love. I particularly enjoyed seeking out lingerie sets that would showcase different parts of my body. After all, boudoir photography is a sexy photo shoot that is all about celebrating your unique shape and curves.

One of the most exciting parts of planning my lingerie photoshoot was choosing outfits that were a bit outside my comfort zone. Sure, I could have stuck with my favorite black lingerie only option, but where’s the fun in that? Instead, I chose a few outfits that were a bit more daring – a sheer bodysuit and a sexy purple 3-piece set. I’ve also decided I would wear my birthday suit for one of the looks (OMG!). These outfits will give me a chance to feel sexy and confident in a way that I hadn’t before.

Of course, the most important part of any unique boudoir photo shoot is the actual photos. While I’m still waiting for my own shoot to take place, I’m already excited about the boudoir pictures that will come out of it.
