As an intimate wedding photographer, I enjoy photographing nontraditional weddings. During the pandemic, many couples had to adjust their plans and have a small wedding. Some couples prefer to elope and have a small wedding photographer present to capture their special day. The truth is there are many ways to plan a wedding. Some last for hours and others are more intimate and non-traditional. I’ve worked as a small wedding photographer, and I can certainly see the appeal for intimate weddings. You can celebrate your day and invite only a small number of people so there’s less pressure. The focus can be on the two of you. Another benefit of planning a smaller wedding is that it will be more affordable. You may have to invest in quality intimate wedding photography, an officiant, and other vendors (florists, designer, etc.).
