Groom Portraits can take place before, during or after the wedding. This kind of groom photography is when the groom is having a photoshoot in all his wedding attire (suit, accessories, etc.). The groom sessions include the groom getting ready and some individual portraits. My approach to photographing grooms is to give light direction for some traditional photos. Also, I use a photojournalistic approach when documenting the groom hanging out with the groomsmen. A groom photoshoot is a good way to commemorate this special time in one’s life.
